(full-time with comprehensive benefits package)
Accountability: Parenting Plus Director
Salary: $22,000

Administrative Data Coordinator works as part of an integrated team. The qualified candidate must be skilled in the following areas: proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 2003, data entry, answering telephones, photocopying & faxing documents, mail distribution, maintaining filing systems while providing staff support to Healthy Families, Teen Parent, Resource Mothers and Partners In Prevention programs.

Qualified candidates should have the following experience, knowledge, and skills:

  • Proficient knowledge and experience using the internet and Microsoft Office 2003: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook.
  • Must have the aptitude to learn other specialized applications as needed.
  • Good oral and written communication skills to effectively correspond with staff and clients.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing organization and work environment; flexible and open to accepting new responsibilities; able to exercise good judgment and take initiative in setting priorities.
  • Extremely organized and detailed oriented.
  • Pro-active problem-solving skills and follow-through until task completion.
  • Other duties as assigned.

CHILD CARE VOLUNTEERS for at-risk families
The Child Abuse Prevention Center at the Alliance for Families and Children is looking for professional, responsible, caring individuals to provide quality child care services for parenting classes in the counties of Appomattox, Bedford and Campbell.  Classes are generally 2 hours in length (5:30-7:30pm) and include a free dinner.  Contact Paul Baldwin at (434)845-5944, ext. 263 or paulb@alliancecva.org

 

All volunteers are required to complete a background check prior to beginning work hours.
